The prayer for God's name to be hallowed and his rule/will to be realized resonates strongly with Ezekiel's promise that God will sanctify his great name, gather and cleanse his people, and put his Spirit within them.

Ezekiel promises cleansing water, a new heart/spirit, and God’s Spirit within his restored people; Titus describes salvation through washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Ghost.

Ezekiel’s regathering to the land, cleansing, new heart, and Spirit promise develops Deuteronomy 30’s restoration trajectory of return, renewed inheritance, and circumcised hearts.

Ezekiel promises that God will put his Spirit within his people and cause covenant obedience; 1 John links commandment-keeping, mutual abiding, and assurance to the Spirit God has given.

Nehemiah’s community signs a serious covenant-renewal pledge, yet chapter 13 shows renewed failure; Ezekiel promises a deeper restoration in which God cleanses his people, gives a new heart and spirit, and causes them to walk in his ways. Jesus’ language of being born of water and Spirit has a strong prophetic background in Ezekiel’s promise that God will cleanse his people with clean water, give a new heart, and put his Spirit within them.

Lamentations closes by asking the LORD to restore and renew his people; Ezekiel develops that exile-era hope into promises of regathering, cleansing, a new heart, a new spirit, and God’s Spirit within. The relationship is a canonical restoration trajectory rather than a quotation.
