Ten Cleansed, One Returns: The Grateful Samaritan
Ten men with skin disease cry out to Jesus for mercy. Jesus sends them toward the priests; all are cleansed on the way, but only one returns praising God and thanking Jesus—and he is a Samaritan. Jesus tells him his faith has made him whole/saved.
Where this fits in the story: priestly cleansing, mercy, gratitude, faith, and outsider reversal converge. The Samaritan again becomes the exemplary responder.
A major “aha”: all ten receive cleansing, but the returning Samaritan receives a personal word about faith. Luke distinguishes receiving a gift from recognizing the giver.
