Clean: Jesus Touches the Excluded and Sends Him to Moses
A man “full of leprosy” asks to be made clean. Jesus touches him, wills his cleansing, and then sends him to the priest with the offering Moses commanded. The act is both compassionate and Torah-aware: restoration includes reintegration into the covenant community’s priestly process.
Where this fits in the story: Leviticus 13–14 distinguishes examination, impurity, cleansing, and restoration. The biblical category is broader than the modern disease called Hansen’s disease, so “leprosy” should not automatically be read as a precise medical diagnosis.
