Nations Stream to the Mountain of the LORD
Micah 3 ended with the temple mountain becoming a wooded ruin. Micah 4 opens with the same mountain established above the hills and drawing many nations toward the LORD. That reversal is deliberate. Judgment is not God’s final word over Zion.
The nations come voluntarily to learn God’s ways. Instruction goes out from Zion, the LORD judges among peoples, weapons are reshaped into farming tools, warfare is unlearned, and ordinary households sit safely under vine and fig tree. Biblical peace is therefore more than the absence of fighting: it includes just rule, security, productive life, and the knowledge of God.
