The First Four Seals and the Four Horsemen
Revelation 6:1–8 opens the first four seals and releases four riders associated with conquest, war, scarcity, and death. The colored-horse imagery recalls Zechariah’s horse visions, while the judgments also echo covenant warnings of sword, famine, pestilence, and death. The Lamb remains the One opening the seals, so even terrifying events unfold within divine sovereignty.
