Four Chariots Between Mountains of Bronze
The final night vision opens with four chariots coming out from between two bronze mountains. Each chariot has differently colored horses. In the ancient world the chariot was a weapon of royal and military power, but these vehicles do not belong to Persia or any earthly king. They emerge from a symbolic heavenly landscape under the authority of the Lord of all the earth.
Where this fits in the vision cycle: chapter 1 began with mounted agents patrolling an apparently quiet earth; chapter 6 now shows divine agents going out again, this time with a stronger judgment/rest-restoration emphasis. The visions have moved from anxious intercession for Zion toward active divine governance.
