Crossing Over and Crushing the Enemy
With a mighty east wind, God parted the waters of the Red Sea, and the Israelites walked through on dry ground. Walls of water stood on their right and left—a supernatural highway opened by the breath of God. All night they crossed safely, while Pharaoh’s army pursued them into the sea.
At daybreak, God threw the Egyptian forces into confusion. Wheels jammed. Panic set in. And as Moses stretched his hand again over the sea, the waters returned and overwhelmed the entire army. Not one Egyptian survived.
