Sowing to the Spirit
Paul calls for material sharing with those who teach and then frames moral life as sowing and reaping. What is sown to the flesh ends in corruption; what is sown to the Spirit reaps eternal life. Because harvest takes time, believers must not become weary in doing good. The section widens the circle of responsibility: do good to everyone, with special care for the household of faith.
Proverbs says rejecters of wisdom will eat the fruit of their own way; Galatians describes the same moral harvest pattern as sowing and reaping.
