Matthew 24 — Overview
Matthew 24 begins with Jesus predicting the temple's destruction and then moves through persecution, Daniel's 'abomination of desolation,' great distress, cosmic signs, the Son of Man, and repeated commands to stay ready. The chapter deliberately draws on Daniel, the prophets, and Noah. Its central practical message is clearer than many end-times charts: do not be deceived, endure, stay awake, and be faithful because the exact day and hour are unknown.
