Passover Approaches: The Plot, Judas, and Satan
Passover approaches, leaders seek a way to kill Jesus, and Satan enters Judas. The human plot and unseen conflict converge as Judas arranges betrayal away from the crowd.
Where this fits in the story: the adversary who departed after the wilderness testing “for a season” now reappears at the passion’s threshold. Luke never uses spiritual conflict to erase human responsibility; Judas and the leaders still choose their actions.
The Passover setting also means that deliverance memory surrounds the plot from the start.
