Passage Overview · Free · 2 Corinthians 3:16
Moses’ Veil and Turning to the Lord
Paul rereads the veil of Exodus 34 as part of his explanation of old-covenant reading and new-covenant disclosure. A veil remains when Moses is read apart from Christ, but when one turns to the Lord the veil is taken away. The argument is theological and Christ-centered; it must never become permission for contempt toward Jewish people.
