Paul explicitly reasons from Israelite sacrificial eating as participation in the altar and places that logic beside Christian participation in the cup and bread. This strongly supports sacrificial-meal analogy without saying the Lord's Supper directly fulfills Leviticus 7.

Paul explicitly appeals to Israel's sacrificial eating: those who eat the sacrifices are participants in the altar. This provides inspired New Testament interpretation of sacrificial-meal participation, though Paul does not cite Leviticus 3 by number or identify the Lord's Supper as a direct fulfillment of the shelamim.

Paul’s statement that pagan sacrifices are offered to demons, not God, closely follows Deuteronomy 32:17’s description of Israel sacrificing to demons rather than to YHWH. The overlap is both lexical and theological.

Paul asks whether believers should “provoke the Lord to jealousy” immediately after invoking Israel’s idolatry and demons, strongly echoing Deuteronomy 32:21’s jealousy language. The idolatry complex is unmistakably Deuteronomic.
