Redemption of Rural Land, Houses, and Levitical Property
Before “redeemer” becomes a Christian theological word, it is also a family/property rescue word. Ruth and Jeremiah show that legal world in action—but the NT never simply says, “Jesus fulfills Leviticus 25's land-redemption clause.”
Where this fits in the story: Jubilee/ancestral-holding rules in 25:8–24 control this property-redemption system.
Where Scripture takes it next: The NT uses redemption language extensively for Christ, but never explicitly titles Jesus “the Leviticus 25 kinsman-redeemer.”
