Where Scripture takes it next: No NT writer directly cites this poverty provision. Mark 1 requires the cleansed person to offer what Moses commanded but does not state which economic tier he used.
Leviticus 14 likewise provides a reduced ritual for someone of limited means. Together these laws demonstrate deliberate economic accommodation within the sacrificial system. The repeated accommodation shows that limited wealth did not remove access to prescribed purification and restoration, even though the required form of the offering changed.
