Revelation 19:16
Revelation 19:11–16 opens heaven to reveal the rider called Faithful and True, the Word of God, and King of kings and Lord of lords. His eyes, crowns, robe, sharp sword, iron-rod rule, and winepress imagery gather themes already developed throughout Revelation and the prophets. The conquering Messiah appears as the righteous judge whose identity and authority belong uniquely to Christ.
Revelation 19:16’s “King of kings, and Lord of lords” probably develops the Psalter’s universal kingship horizon, including Psalm 22:28 where the kingdom belongs to the LORD and he governs among the nations. The relationship is royal theme development, not a formal quotation.
