All Nations Will Worship: The Kingdom Is the LORD’s
The horizon expands from one rescued sufferer to the ends of the earth. Families of the nations will remember and worship, because the kingdom belongs to the LORD. Future generations will hear what God has done. The poem therefore ends not merely with private relief but with worldwide worship.
Christian readers rightly see this beside the gospel’s movement to the nations, and Hebrews has already given Psalm 22 an explicit Christological reading in verse 22. Still, Matthew 28 and Revelation 7 are canonical fulfillments of the worldwide-worship theme rather than direct quotations of these closing verses. That difference should remain visible.
