Praise with Skill and Sing a New Song
Psalm 33 summons the righteous to public, skillful praise using voice and instruments. The “new song” is fresh praise answering God’s acts; it need not imply that every old song has become obsolete.
Revelation later uses “new song” language in worship around the Lamb, creating a strong canonical motif. Psalm 33 itself remains praise of the LORD rather than a direct prophecy of the heavenly scene.
