Psalms 146:6
The LORD is identified as Maker of heaven, earth, sea, and all within them, then as defender of oppressed people, feeder of the hungry, freer of prisoners, protector of vulnerable people, and eternal King. Acts 4:24 and 14:15 echo the Creator formula, while Revelation shares it more diffusely. Jesus’ ministry strongly embodies these kingdom works, but the psalm first praises YHWH.
