Idol worshipers are shamed and heavenly beings are summoned to worship before the LORD, while Zion rejoices in His judgments. Hebrews 1:6 has wording close to the Greek version of Psalm 97:7, but Deuteronomy 32 in the Greek tradition is also a major source candidate. Because the exact source is disputed, this passage should be presented as a possible LORD-to-Christ intertext rather than a certain quotation from Psalm 97.
