The Perfect Law of the LORD Restores and Makes Wise
The focus shifts from creation’s witness to the LORD’s revealed instruction. Torah, testimony, statutes, commandment, fear, and judgments are praised as restoring, wise-making, rejoicing, enlightening, enduring, and righteous. The many terms overlap rather than describing six unrelated kinds of revelation.
Christian readers can relate this to Jesus’ faithfulness to God’s word and to New Testament teaching about Scripture, but these verses are not themselves a direct prophecy of Christ. Their first task is to teach the goodness of God’s revealed instruction.
