Holy Anointing Oil and Pure Incense Are Prepared
The final piece constructed in this chapter was the Altar of Incense, a sacred object that stood just outside the Holy of Holies. Bezalel shaped it from acacia wood and overlaid it with pure gold. This altar was used not for burnt offerings but for burning fragrant incense—a symbol of prayer, worship, and communion with God.
Holy Anointing Oil and Pure Incense Are Prepared records the carrying out of what was commanded or announced in Holy Anointing Oil and Sacred Use, showing the earlier word moving into fulfillment within Exodus.
