Skilled Hands and Sacred Work – Constructing the Tabernacle
Once the people had given more than enough, the real work began. The skilled workers set out to build everything exactly as the Lord had commanded Moses. This wasn't a casual construction project—it was the fulfillment of a divine blueprint, given by God Himself, for His dwelling place among His people.
They started with the ten curtains of fine twisted linen, embroidered with cherubim in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn. These curtains formed the innermost layer of the Tabernacle—the sanctuary’s covering—symbolizing heavenly realities and God's holiness. The workers joined the curtains together, forming one unified structure, just as God’s presence was meant to be at the center of a unified people.
