The Tabernacle Structure – A Heavenly Pattern on Earth
As God continued His instructions to Moses on Mount Sinai, He now turned to the sacred structure that would house His presence—the Tabernacle itself. It wasn’t to be just any tent. It would be a sanctuary crafted with divine precision, each detail a reflection of a greater reality. “Make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn, with cherubim woven into them by a skilled worker,” God said.
The colors were not arbitrary: blue pointed to heaven, purple to royalty, and scarlet to sacrifice. Together, they formed a tapestry of redemption. The cherubim—heavenly beings who symbolized God’s holiness and presence—were woven into the fabric itself, declaring that this was no ordinary place. It was a slice of heaven dwelling among earthbound people.
