The Second Plague – Frogs Fill the Land
Pharaoh had hardened his heart, but the Lord had not abandoned His people. Judgment would continue, each plague a stroke of divine confrontation against Egypt’s gods and a declaration of the Lord’s unmatched authority. This time, God’s command to Pharaoh came again: “Let My people go, so that they may worship Me.”
When Pharaoh refused, God instructed Moses to warn him of the next plague: frogs. That may sound almost humorous, but what happened was no laughing matter. The frogs didn’t just fill the rivers—they invaded the homes, bedrooms, ovens, and kneading bowls. They were everywhere, disrupting daily life and assaulting every corner of Egyptian comfort.
