Let Not Thine Heart Decline to Her Ways
The story ends by turning back to the audience: listen, and do not let the heart bend toward her paths. Her victims include the strong, and her house is portrayed as a highway to the grave, making the real battle one of direction long before the final act.
Proverbs urges the hearer not to turn the heart toward the seductress whose house leads to death; Paul commands believers to flee sexual immorality and honor God with the body.
