The Young Man without Understanding
The father watches a naive young man move through the wrong street at the wrong time and become the target of carefully staged seduction. The narrative slows down to show how temptation works through setting, appearance, religious language, flattery, secrecy, and delay of consequences until the young man follows like an animal toward slaughter.
Proverbs 7 narrates desire being enticed until the young man follows a path toward death; James describes desire conceiving sin and sin, when finished, bringing forth death.
