A Call to Justice for the Kings of Judah

Jeremiah carries the covenant demand for justice directly into the royal palace. The king must protect the stranger, fatherless, widow, and oppressed and refuse innocent blood. Obedience would allow Davidic kings to continue through these gates; refusal would turn the palace into desolation.
