Jeremiah 12:7
The LORD speaks of forsaking His house and giving His dearly beloved into the hand of enemies. The land and fields mourn under judgment, and shepherds have spoiled the vineyard. The language is both judicial and deeply personal: rebellion has devastated what God calls His heritage.
'Your house is left unto you desolate' belongs to prophetic judgment language concerning abandoned house/temple and prepares directly for Matthew 24's temple-destruction discourse.
