Psalms 103:2–3
David calls his own soul to remember the LORD’s benefits: forgiveness, healing, redemption, covenant love, and sustaining goodness. These gifts become rich categories for Christian thanksgiving, especially in light of Christ’s saving ministry. Still, the psalm is praise for God’s covenant mercy before it is a list of direct predictions about Jesus.
