Zion Chosen and David’s Horn Prepared
The LORD chooses Zion, promises provision and salvation, and says that there he will make David’s horn grow and prepare a lamp for his anointed. The language gathers dwelling, priesthood, kingship, and enduring Davidic hope into one closing oracle. Luke’s “horn of salvation” and the wider Davidic canon make the section strongly messianic in trajectory, though the Free layer distinguishes trajectory from formal quotation.
