Proverbs 6:6–8
The sluggard is sent to a creature with no visible overseer and told to learn foresight and diligence. The ant becomes a tiny creation lesson: work done in season prevents the gradual drift in which a little sleep, a little folding of the hands, and repeated delay become poverty.
Biblical wisdom praises foresight and prudent action. Jesus commends the manager's strategic foresight, not his unrighteousness, and redirects that urgency toward kingdom-shaped use of wealth.
