Psalms 133:1–3
The delight of kindred unity is compared with priestly anointing oil and life-giving dew flowing toward Zion. The images move from Aaronic holiness to the place where the LORD commands blessing—life for evermore. New Testament unity in one body and Jesus’ prayer for his followers provide rich canonical application without requiring a prediction claim.
Psalm 133 compares the goodness of kindred unity to precious oil running down Aaron’s head, beard, and garments. That imagery intentionally evokes Aaron’s priestly anointing and consecration tradition in Leviticus 8 and Exodus 29, so the psalm portrays unity with the abundance and holiness of priestly consecration.
