Sabbath Year: Land Rest and Shared Produce
Chronicles later tells readers how to understand Judah's exile: the abandoned land finally kept the Sabbaths Israel had withheld. Leviticus 25 is therefore part of the Bible's explanation of exile, not merely ancient farming advice.
Where this fits in the story: Genesis 2:1–3 — broad creation-rest root. Sabbath ultimately grows from God's creation rest.
Where Scripture takes it next: No NT writer directly interprets the agricultural Sabbath-year law as a Christological prophecy.
