Blessed Dead, Son-of-Man Harvest, and the Winepress of Wrath
Revelation 14:13–20 pronounces blessing on those who die in the Lord and then portrays two harvest scenes: the earth reaped and grapes gathered into the great winepress of God’s wrath. Harvest and winepress imagery comes from the prophets’ judgment vocabulary. The section places the rest of the faithful dead beside the certainty of divine reckoning.
