Isaiah’s Warning and the Unhindered Kingdom
Acts 28:23–31 centers on isaiah’s warning and the unhindered kingdom. On an appointed day many come to Paul’s lodging. From morning to evening he explains the kingdom of God and tries to persuade them about Jesus from Moses and the prophets. Responses divide. Paul quotes Isaiah 6:9–10 about hearing without understanding, then declares that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, who will hear. For two years he receives visitors and preaches the kingdom of God and teaches about the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, unhindered.
