The Sea Beast: Dragon-Backed Empire, Blasphemy, and War on the Saints
Revelation 13:1–10 introduces a beast rising from the sea with features drawn from Daniel’s beastly kingdoms. The dragon gives it authority, the world marvels and worships, and the beast blasphemes God and makes war on the saints for a limited period. Revelation transforms Daniel’s imperial-monster imagery into a warning about political power that exalts itself against God and demands worship.
