Haman Falls on His Own Execution Tree
Haman realizes the king has determined evil against him and begs Esther for his life. When the king returns and finds Haman fallen on Esther’s couch, the situation becomes even worse. Harbonah then points out the very execution structure Haman prepared for Mordecai—the man whose warning saved the king.
The king commands Haman to be executed on it. The trap returns upon its maker, matching a recurring wisdom pattern: the one who digs a pit may fall into it, and violence can return on the head of the violent.
