Psalms 98:9
The sea roars, rivers clap, and hills rejoice because the LORD comes to judge the world with righteousness and equity. Revelation 5:13 and 19:11 have possible intertextual relationships with this creation-and-judgment imagery, but the evidence is not as direct as a quotation formula. The reader layer should therefore preserve “possible echo” language where retained.
Revelation 19:11 may likewise echo Psalm 98:9, where the LORD comes to judge the earth with righteousness and equity. The Christological trajectory is striking, but the coming-judge formula is broad enough that exclusive dependence on this Psalm cannot be proved.
