The Visit of the Queen of Sheba

2 Chronicles 9:1–12 forms the movement “The Visit of the Queen of Sheba.” The chapter begins with the Queen of Sheba visiting Solomon to test him with hard questions. She came with a great caravan bearing spices, gold, and precious stones. Solomon answered all her questions with wisdom, leaving her overwhelmed by his knowledge, the splendor of his palace, the food on his table, the seating of his officials, and the burnt offerings at the temple. She confessed that what she had heard in her land did not compare to the reality she witnessed.
