Passage Overview · Free · Ezekiel 38:22
The LORD Defeats Gog and Magnifies His Name
God answers Gog with earthquake, panic, sword, pestilence, rain, hail, fire, and sulfur, turning the invader’s apparent strength into the stage for divine self-disclosure. Revelation 20 later explicitly reuses “Gog and Magog” but expands the image into a final worldwide rebellion, showing canonical transformation rather than a simple newspaper-style one-to-one map.
