Moses, Aaron, Plagues, and the Exodus
The psalm recounts Moses and Aaron, signs in Egypt, judgment on the gods and land, and Israel’s departure. These events form part of the canonical exodus pattern later used throughout the New Testament. Christ’s saving work can be described within that larger exodus trajectory, but the plagues should not each be assigned speculative one-to-one Christian meanings.
