Weekly Sabbath as YHWH's Appointed Holy Convocation
Where this fits in the story: Genesis 2:1–3 supplies the creation-rest root.
Where Scripture takes it next: Hebrews 3–4 develops God's rest, Psalm 95, and a remaining sabbatismos/Sabbath-rest for God's people. Leviticus 23:3 belongs to the same Sabbath canon but is not Hebrews' explicit quoted prooftext.
Feast fulfillment calibration: Leviticus 23 is first Israel’s sacred-time calendar, not a hidden end-times chart. The chapter begins with Sabbath because sacred time includes weekly rest as well as annual festivals. Christians may trace the calendar toward Christ, but every proposed fulfillment must be graded separately rather than assuming the entire feast cycle is a one-to-one prophecy code.
