1 Kings 22:19–23
In 1 Kings 22:1–28, the narrative focuses on jehoshaphat and ahab plan war. This belongs to the closing Ahab cycle. War, royal abuse, Naboth’s vineyard, prophetic confrontation, the heavenly-court vision, and Ahab’s death test whether royal power can escape the word and judgment of the LORD.
