Judges 4:2
After Ehud dies, Israel falls again under oppression, this time from Jabin of Hazor and his commander Sisera with nine hundred iron chariots. Deborah, a prophetess and judge, summons Barak with the LORD’s command to gather troops at Mount Tabor. Barak will go only if Deborah accompanies him, and she announces that the final honor over Sisera will go to a woman.
Judges later names another Jabin ruling from Hazor, creating direct literary continuity with Joshua’s destruction of Hazor and its king while raising historical questions about the royal title/name.
