The Dedication Totals and Moses Hears the Voice
After totaling the twelve days of gifts, Numbers returns to the heart of the sanctuary. Moses enters the Tent and hears the voice speaking from above the mercy seat between the cherubim. Exodus 25 had promised that this is where YHWH would meet Moses; Numbers 7 narrates that promise functioning in Israel’s life.
