From Persecutor to Preacher
Paul recounts a brief visit to Jerusalem three years later, where he spent fifteen days with Cephas/Peter and also saw James, the Lord’s brother. He then ministered in Syria and Cilicia while remaining personally unknown to many Judean churches. What they did know was the stunning reversal: the man who once persecuted believers was now preaching the faith he had tried to destroy, and they glorified God because of him.
Acts 9 and Galatians 1 both place an early Jerusalem visit after Paul’s conversion, but the compressed narratives emphasize different details.
