The Alarm of Approaching Destruction

Jerusalem is warned to flee as disaster comes from the north. Violence and oppression fill the city, yet the people refuse correction. The crisis reaches leadership as well: prophet and priest deal falsely, healing the wound superficially by saying “Peace, peace” when there is no peace.
