Human Plans under the LORD’s Direction

Human beings plan, evaluate, work, and choose, yet Proverbs repeatedly places those activities under the LORD who weighs motives, establishes what is committed to him, judges pride, and directs steps. This is wisdom’s answer to both fatalism and self-sufficiency: human responsibility is real, but it is never ultimate.
