Corrupt Leaders and No One in the Gap

Prophets, priests, princes, and people are all implicated: revelation is falsified, holy distinctions are blurred, leaders exploit, and the vulnerable are oppressed. God seeks someone to stand in the breach but finds none; this exposes the depth of the leadership failure and creates a canonical longing for righteous mediation without making the verse itself a direct prediction of Jesus.
