Who May Ascend the Hill of the LORD
The psalm asks who may approach God’s holy place and answers with clean hands, a pure heart, truthfulness, and faithful worship. The question resembles Psalm 15 and treats access to God as a matter of moral and covenant integrity, not merely ritual presence.
Jesus’ teaching about purity of heart and the New Testament’s access-to-God theology provide strong canonical connections, but Psalm 24:3–6 is not quoted as a direct Christ prophecy. Christian reading can say Christ opens access and perfectly embodies holiness without erasing the psalm’s ethical demand.
